Contents
This agreement is between you and the developer of Rawlit (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Rawlit you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Rawlit on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app is licensed, not sold, to you.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the app;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the app or the color data it contains, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices in the app; or
- use the app in any way that violates applicable law.
3. Your photos
You keep all rights to the photos you edit with Rawlit, and you are responsible for having the rights to edit and share them. Rawlit never changes your original files: it edits a copy and exports a new file. Your photos are processed on your device and are never sent to us. See the Privacy Policy for details.
4. Cameras and results
Rawlit reads RAW files with the RAW decoder built into iOS, so which cameras and files it can open depends on Apple’s support for them and may change with iOS updates. Rawlit renders photos with its own Natural Color Pipeline; the results are an interpretation and may differ from your camera’s own processing or from other software. Rawlit does not save edits between sessions, and we are not responsible for edits that are lost, for example when an export fails or the app is closed.
5. Intellectual property
Rawlit, including its design, code, color data, and name, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. This agreement gives you no ownership of the app. Camera and other brand names belong to their respective owners; Rawlit is not affiliated with or endorsed by any camera maker. We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging any claim that the app infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights.
6. Maintenance and support
We, not Apple, are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Rawlit. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app. You can reach us at zenso@shisheng.icu. We try to answer every message but cannot promise a specific response time or that any issue will be fixed.
7. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rawlit is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that it will open every RAW file, or that exports will look exactly like the preview on every display.
If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, photos, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Rawlit. Our total liability for all claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if any. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
9. Product claims
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
10. Legal compliance
You represent that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
11. Third-party terms
You must comply with any applicable third-party terms, such as your wireless data service agreement, when using Rawlit.
12. Apple as third-party beneficiary
You and we acknowledge that this agreement is between you and us only, not with Apple, and that we, not Apple, are solely responsible for Rawlit and its content. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and upon your acceptance of it, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
13. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the app. On termination you must stop using the app and remove all copies from your devices.
14. Changes
We may update this agreement from time to time. The current version is always available at this address, with the date of the last change at the top. Continued use of Rawlit after a change means you accept the updated terms.
